The Dawning is back in Destiny 2 to close out 2024 and the second act of Episode: Revenant. As has been the case for many a Dawning events, to complete this event, you’ll need to make cookies for your favorite NPC allies from a variety of ingredients.
Like every year, there’s plenty of goodies to collect in the Dawning. There’s a new Dawning Linear Fusion Rifle to earn, an exclusive Memento that makes your weapon look icy, and all of the previous Dawning weapons to pick up. Of course, to get all of these cool rewards, you’ll need to follow the Cookie Delivery Helper quest and bake lots of cookies for your Guardian pals.
In this Destiny 2 guide, we’ll reveal the ingredients for each of the 20 recipes in 2024’s iteration of the Dawning and tell you how to find all of the ingredients.

Each character in the world of Destiny 2 has their own likes and dislikes, and that boils all the way down to their cookie preferences. You’ll need to bake a different set of cookies for each of the NPC characters in Destiny and then hand-deliver them for some rewards.
Each cookie recipe requires an uncommon enemy ingredient, a rare kill ingredient, and 10-15 Essence of Dawning — depending on if you’ve baked every recipe and Masterworked your oven or not — which you can get from completing activities in Destiny 2.
Here are all of the recipes for the Dawning 2024. If you need a breakdown on how to find each of these ingredients, continue scrolling down.

What else is in Destiny 2’s the Dawning in 2024?

Unlike other holiday events in Destiny 2, the Dawning doesn’t ask you to go out and play some new, unique activity. Instead, you just need to play Destiny 2 to collect ingredients and Essence of Dawning. However, just because there isn’t a unique activity for the event doesn’t mean there’s not plenty of other stuff going on.
In addition to baking cookies, the Dawning 2024 also includes:
- Dawning-exclusive weapons, including the new Mistral Lift linear fusion rifle, with new perk rolls.
- The return of 2023’s Dawning Memento, which comes from the Winter’s Night quest and makes your weapons look icy.
- Upgrades for your baking oven and the rewards you can receive.
- Stasis snowballs, which you can now spawn after you get a kill with your abilities or Dawning weapons.
- Winter-themed cosmetics in the Eververse Store and through the Challenge Card.
- Stasis Dragon-themed armor available for both Bright Dust and Silver.
- A Dawning Title that you can earn and gild, which you need if you want to eventually earn the Reveler annual title.
- Three unique Vanguard emblems that are part of a new community event.
