Mariska Hargitay Fans 'Can Hardly Wait' After Jamie Lee Curtis Teases 'Secret Project'

There aren’t many things that can make fans smile as much as Mariska Hargitay and Jamie Lee Curtis can. 

The two actresses recently posed together for a series of smiling social media snaps—and even through a photo, their joy was contagious.

The photos, shared to Instagram on Friday, Dec. 13, showed both Hargitay, 60, and Curtis, 66, wearing nearly identical outfits comprised of dark pants, fitted long-sleeve tops, and stylish eyeglasses. 

In the first of the two side-by-side pictures, the women tried to make serious faces for the camera and each left their arms crossed. But in the second snap, they couldn’t contain their laughter as they looked over at each other.

In the caption, Hargitay included a number of hashtags, including “#FreakyFriday,” “Twinning,” “WillTheRealOliviaBensonPleaseStandUp,” “OhHowILoveAndAdoreThisWoman,” “SistersFromAnotherMister” “FierceFemaleFreakyFridayFriendship” and more.  

And even though neither Curtis nor the Law & Order: SVU star shared any reason for why they were hanging out together, fans couldn’t help but dream about a possible “secret project” in the works. 

“Jamie on SVU 🤔 like a 2 part episode 🥰🔥,” one person suggested, while another person mused over the idea of Hargitay making an appearance in Freaky Friday 2, which Curtis is starring in alongside Lindsay Lohan. 

“Mariska Hargitay and Jamie Lee Curtis on screen together?! The world needs this,” one hopeful fan added, while someone else agreed an on-screen collab from the two actresses would be “epic.” 

“Legends only,” another person commented under the post.
