We’re rounding the bend to the last few brand-new original Christmas movies this season. The latest is The Santa Class and stands out as one of the more charming and funny movies this season. It stars fan favorite actress Kimberley Sustad who has appeared in Hallmark movies like The Nine Lives of Christmas, Christmas by Starlight and The Real West. She has also co-written a few Hallmark movies with fellow actor Paul Campbell, including the uber-popular Three Wise and a Baby and its sequel, Three Wiser Men and a Boy.

What is The Santa Class about?
Kate North (Sustad) has reluctantly taken over her father’s once-acclaimed and now-struggling Santa School. In the weeks leading up to Christmas and the school’s next session, Kate and her new co-worker Dan (Benjamin Ayres) discover who they believe to be the real Santa Claus. He’s lost and without his memories after his sled steered off course and crashed near the school. They decide to help him remember who he is by inviting him to participate in the intense Santa training program. There’s a lot at stake this year as Kate’s school needs to best the rival St. Nicholas School or be forced to close their doors, and Santa Claus needs to remember who he is—or the fate of Christmas might be at stake.

Kimberley Sustad (Kate)
Sustad is a Hallmark Channel fan favorite with The Nine Lives of Christmas and its long-awaited sequel, The Nine Kittens of Christmas. She has also starred opposite Paul Campbell in several movies, including the original Godwink Christmas movie, Wedding Every Weekend and Christmas by Starlight. The two have also written several Hallmark movies including Three Wise Men and a Baby.

Benjamin Ayres (Dan)
Best known for his roles as Dr. Zachary Miller on Saving Hope, Ayres starred in Cranberry Christmas and A Blue Ridge Mountain Christmas. He has had recurring roles on Suits and Burden of Truth. Ayres also stars opposite Alison Sweeney on The Chronicle Mysteries on Hallmark Mystery.
