Kris Jenner is arguably her kids’ biggest fan—not only is she famously their “momager,” but the Kardashians star constantly posts about her children’s accomplishments on social media.
But there are times when her very vocal motherly love can turn into a bit of a faux pas, as evidenced by a recent fashion moment with her third oldest daughter, Khloé Kardashian.

It all started when both Jenner and Kardashian showed up to a holiday party wearing different versions of the same outfit. Both sported long-sleeved dresses from the clothing line Khy, which is helmed by another member of their famous family, Kylie Jenner.
To add insult to injury, they also styled the mini dresses in the same way, opting for thigh-high boots and dangling gold earrings. The only sartorial difference between the two was their choice of color: Kardashian went for a dark and moody black look, while her mom went for a winter white.
Kardashian memorialized the twinning moment by recording a lipsync video with her mother, where they recreated a 2016 scene from Keeping Up With the Kardashians where her oldest sister, Kourtney Kardashian, scolded their mother for copying her.
In the original audio, which appeared on the third episode of Season 12 of the family’s eponymous reality show, Kourtney was upset that her mom had furnished her brother Rob’s new home with a specific set of mugs after her sister Kim pointed them out.
“Those are what I have and of course she copies me,” Kourtney complained in the original scene. “It’s like I want to be the one person,” she said before launching into a rebuke that was turned into a viral sound on social media.

“It’s just not cool that you copy me,” Kourtney’s voiceover in Khloé’s video started. “Like, I go to lengths to try to get things that not everybody has.”
“OK, well I can’t return those,” Kris responded in both the voiceover and in the lipsync video with Khloé, who then turned away in exasperation.
Fans found the situation hilarious, commenting on Khloé’s Instagram video that “this is pure GOLD 😂” and stating that “Funny Khloe is my favorite Khloe ❤️.”
Kourtney chimed in as well, writing that it’s “Never cool to copy,” while Kris responded with a collection of cheeky emojis, commenting, “🥰😜😎.”
