Goicoechea began, saying, “Sove’s mommy, Jen, I help artists, entertainers, make music, put on shows, do videos and do a whole bunch of stuff. Today, I came here to introduce daddy as an entertainer.”
Usher then jumped in to explain who he was, declaring, “Sove gets to call me daddy, but the rest of the world knows me as Usher.”

The “Yeah!” singer then started his dance lesson, finding a clever way to connect with the children through the popular movie Wreck-It Ralph. He explained how the character Vanellope von Schweetz is also known by the nickname “The Glitch,” saying, “After seeing that movie, I made up a dance called ‘The Glitch.'”
Usher showed off his dance moves, having fun with the kids as he appeared to glitch while slowly moving his arms and legs. The 46-year-old then led the class in a little lesson, with the kids following his lead as they tried their hand at the fun dance.
Fans called the moment “so wholesome” as one praised Usher for how he connected with the kids, saying, “The fact that he brought up Wreck It Ralph and Venelope is amazing bc he was able to relate to his audience. These kids have no idea who this man is like we do!”
Others wrote, “So cute🎄❤️The coolest dad” and “Such a good father 👏👏,” while someone else joked, “If I was the teacher, I’d be in the back glitching too 🕺.”
Usher shares daughter Sovereign and son Sire with Goicoechea, while he is also father to older sons Usher “Cinco” and Naviyd, whom he shares with ex-wife Tameka Foster.
