Los Angeles Closed Restaurants from the January 2025 fires
The fires that have impacted Los Angeles and its surrounding areas will leave an indelible scar on both our minds and the landscape. It is to be expected that measures will be taken by the authorities, and they have to, so such a tragedy does not happen again.
Many friends have lost everything, leaving their homes with just the clothes they had on. I spoke with some of them when it just started, inviting them to my house. Since I was hearing from them, I feared the worst, and the worst happened. But, I am also thinking about the hundred thousand in the same situation.
The world is seeing the apocalyptic images. How can this even occur? The loss of property is one thing, but the loss of memories that were encapsulated in the homes is irreplaceable. My heart aches for all of those affected by this unimaginable devastation. My stomach hurts…
There are also the businesses that were lost, providing a living for their staff and also serving the community. Many have lost this on top of their homes. This is an incommensurable disaster. Below is a running list of the restaurants destroyed or damaged by the inferno. Others remain shuttered while damages are assessed.
We are all crying and sending our condolences to those who lost loved ones.
