Dusit Princess Moena – Image Credit Dusit International
Dusit International has signed management agreements with IDC Prime to manage two new hotels in Northern Mindanao. These hotels will operate under the Dusit Princess brand.
The first hotel, Dusit Princess Moena, will be part of the Moena Mountain Estate. This development emphasizes sustainability and is located in the forested mountains of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. The 184-room hotel, set to open in late 2029, will include a lobby lounge, business center, restaurant, outdoor pool, gym, yoga room, and multipurpose area.
The second hotel, Dusit Princess Firenze, will be part of IDC’s Firenze Green Tower project in Cagayan de Oro’s Limketkai area, near commercial and business districts. Also opening in late 2029, this hotel will be located on the upper floors of a 14-storey mixed-use development. The 180-room hotel will offer premium facilities such as a gym, spa, multipurpose areas, commercial spaces, and a swimming pool.
Both projects are existing real estate joint ventures between IDC, the property developer, and the Go family, the original site owners. Gilles Cretallaz, Chief Operating Officer of Dusit International, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with IDC Prime, highlighting the potential for growth in the Philippines’ tourism sector.
Dusit International’s current portfolio includes 302 properties across 19 countries. In the Philippines, it operates Dusit Thani Manila, Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort, Dusit Thani Residence Davao, dusitD2 Davao, and Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort.
