Hyatt Hotels Corporation Launches New Hotel in Xiamen’s Coastal Area

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has inaugurated its latest hotel, the Hyatt Centric Ocean Front Xiamen, located in the port city of Xiamen, China. The hotel, situated along the southeast coastline of Xiamen Island, provides guests with easy access to the city’s urban energy and tranquil coastal environments.

Hyatt Centric Ocean Front Xiamen is closely situated to several local attractions. Within walking distance, guests can find a beautiful beach and Zeng Cuo An Food Street, famed for its diverse range of local delicacies. A short trip allows guests to explore ancient temples, repurposed fishing villages now acting as creative districts and bustling shopping areas in the historic downtown region. In addition, nature enthusiasts can enjoy walking trails that extend from lush mountains to the sea or tour the island on a bicycle along a scenic coastal road.

The hotel has 196 guestrooms, including 18 large suites. Room designs incorporate natural materials such as wood, marble, and rattan, paired with coastal color schemes and local inspirations. Many rooms offer private balconies with beach or mountain views. Modern amenities, such as HDTVs and capsule coffee machines, ensure guest comfort.

Hyatt Centric Ocean Front Xiamen also houses dining and social spaces. Alley 36, the hotel’s all-day restaurant, serves classic Min cuisine and local seafood, while the Min Bar offers craft cocktails, fine wines, and grilled bites accompanied by panoramic sea views. The House of Music, a unique social hub, offers a collection of vinyl records for guests to enjoy alongside drinks and light bites.

The hotel also provides a rooftop infinity pool and a well-equipped gym for guests to unwind after exploring the city.

Six meeting rooms blend contemporary design with warm, beachy hues and are equipped with the latest audio-visual technology.
