HFTP Offers Online Proctor Service for CHAE and CHTP, Plus Other Program Updates

Have you considered obtaining one of HFTP’s premier industry certifications, the CHAE or CHTP? We have some news that might get you started on your road to certification.

Applying, studying, and taking the CHAE or CHTP exams has been streamlined. You still need to meet the requirements, but you can start studying for the exam while waiting for your certification application approval. Are you having a hard time finding someone to proctor the exam? No worries! We now will be using an online proctoring service that requires no scheduling and no live proctor, which means you can take the exam anywhere, anytime, 24/7.

We have made this all possible by offering the review materials and exams for each section of CHAE and CHTP as individual courses purchased as a bundle. A certification application is embedded in each course. The application must be submitted once within any of the courses. Once submitted, it will be reviewed by the HFTP Director of Career Development. You can begin working through the review materials while waiting for approval of the application. When the application has been approved, the approval letter stating you qualify for the certification must be submitted in subsequent sections. The exam becomes available once the application is approved. The application approval is only valid for one year from submission, so keep that in mind as plan your certification strategy.

The HFTP Academy has selected Proctorio, an automated remote proctoring service to further facilitate the certification process. Using Proctorio provides automation while safeguarding the integrity of the CHAE and CHTP certification exams. With Proctorio, no live proctor watches test takers during the exam. Once you receive approval on your application, it will be up to you when you take the exam.
