Our theatre classes and workshops are a great way to get creative, meet new people, share stories, and laugh! GeriActors combines playfulness with technique to create unique and fun theatre programs for ages 55+. All our programs are facilitated by local theatre artists ready to share their “theatre know-how”. Whether you have a history in the theatre, have always dreamt of performing, or just want to try something new, this is the perfect place to start. Will we see you at a class this spring?

Improv is all about spontaneity, collaboration, and fun! This class is divided into two parts and participants are welcome to register for one or both. If you have never done improv before, we recommend starting with Back to Basics. Price: $120 (each), $240 (both)
Sketch Writing

Bring your funny bone and discover the magic of Sketch Writing. Experience how a simple idea can blossom into a hilarious scene. Explore a variety of sketch writing methods and get to see your work on stage during a final presentation for family and friends. Price: $240
Dance Theatre

Discover how movement and music can transform storytelling in this 4-week class. Dance Theatre is a way to capture emotion, character and story through a variety of movements. No dance experience necessary. Price: $120
Intro to Clowning
April 26 & April 27 from 1-3:30pm

An intro to clowning, play, and presence. Live in the moment! Laugh in the face of failure! You’ll discover the power of presence and the fun in foolishness as we tap into our greatest creative resource – PLAY. Clowning is an important part of actor training, and a fundamental skill for physical comedy and improv. Noses provided. Price: $100.00
