Stephen A. Smith made a bold prediction about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s relationship in 2025—and Tayvis shippers will be over the moon if it comes true.
On Wednesday, March 5, the ESPN sports commentator appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

During their sit-down, Smith and host Jimmy Fallon touched on a couple trending topics, including opinions that he should run for president in 2028. (“Folks are nuts,” he told Fallon of potentially being the Democratic nominee.)
Next on the “hot take generator” was: “Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will get married in 2025.”
“I’m scared to get this wrong!” Smith confessed. “Travis Kelce, that’s my dawg.”
“A lot of ladies love Travis Kelce. Travis Kelce has loved a lot of ladies,” he continued. “But Taylor Swift’s a different animal.”
Finally, he predicted: “She looks good. She’s incredibly talented. And she’s worth about a billion. We’re going to guess a yes on this one!”
“Oh, I hope that happens,” Fallon agreed.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and pop superstar went public with their relationship in September 2023 when Swift attended a Chiefs-Bears game at Arrowhead Stadium. However, a source exclusively told Parade that Swift and Kelce actually “began talking in August 2023.”
Engagement rumors have periodically swirled between the “it” couple since then, but nothing has been officially confirmed.
Although Kelce announced he would return for the 2025–26 NFL season after the Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, he is currently enjoying downtime with Swift, who wrapped up her wildly popular Eras Tour in December 2024.
Who knows? Perhaps Smith’s prediction of a 2025 marriage will become a reality after Swift and Kelce spent some extended quality time together.
