How to Turn Your Tub of Cookie Dough Into Cookie Crisp Cereal
In a TikTok that’s been liked nearly 248,000 times, mom of two Gabriela Maria uses a tub of Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough to make a homemade version of Cookie Crisp cereal. The hack is surprisingly simple. To start, Maria fills a disposable piping bag with the cookie dough, before cutting off a small piece of the end.
She then puts parchment paper on a baking sheet and squirts tiny, dime-sized pieces of the dough onto the sheet. (Maria uses kitchen shears to get perfectly sized rounds, which is genius.)
She slides the pan into the oven, and bakes the dough for five to six minutes at 350°. After that, the tiny little cookies come out, looking mouth-wateringly good. Maria puts some of the mini cookies into a cereal bowl and covers them with milk, before scooping them into her mouth and nodding with a smile. “The cutest little chocolate chip cookies,” she wrote in the caption.
Warm cookies are good, but tiny warm cookies and milk are next level. They’re cute and comforting and make the perfect afternoon or evening snack.

What People Are Saying About These Itty Bitty Chocolate Chip Cookies
People promptly freaked in the comments, with many pointing out that this is the perfect Cookie Crisp dupe. “At first I thought you were being too extra. Then I realized you’re being the perfect amount of extra. Well done. 10/10,” one person wrote. “Stoppp it right now! As a pregnant woman, I did not need to see this,” another said.
Others pointed out that this is a serious flex. “It’s like asking the question, do you want 6 string cheese…nope…but I will eat 40 mozzarella sticks, deep fried and dipped in ranch please!” someone wrote. Another declared, “this is what it means to be an adult.”
Some even said they’re inspired to put their own spin on this. “Omggg doing this with sugar cookies,” a commenter said. Someone else chimed in, noting that they do this with Mini Chips Ahoy! and Mini Oreos.
Another genius commenter suggested using the mini cookies to make tiny ice cream sandwiches. “OMG girl I should’ve done that instead. Definitely going to try this,” responded Gabriela. The great thing is that you don’t have to do one or the other. You can make a lot of tiny cookies with one tub of dough, so you could have DIY Cookie Crisp and tiny ice cream cookie sandwiches. Win win!
And while most of the comments are relatable, there was one that summed up what we’re all thinking: “No notes. This is amazing. Seriously, you win.”
