At the MWC Barcelona, Huawei and Meliá Hotels International launched the Global Smart Hotel Showcase at Torre Melina Gran Meliá hotel. The showcase is designed to propel smart hotel network connectivity and infrastructure advancements, effectively catalyzing digital and intelligent transformation within the global hospitality sector.

Huawei’s Smart Hotel Solution merges the merits of IP and POL technologies, offering three unique features:
1. Wireless access points with built-in smart antennas ensure seamless Wi-Fi coverage in all indoor and outdoor hotel areas, guaranteeing smooth roaming and ultra-high-speed network experience.
2. Replacing traditional Ethernet cables with optical fibers allows each room to be connected with a single fiber and terminal, a practice that supports sustainable development and is future-proof.
