Expanding its luxury offering to include residential properties, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of its first standalone residences in Beverly Hills. The development, designed by acclaimed architect Thomas Juul-Hansen, introduces a new level of luxury living in Los Angeles and is a significant milestone for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.
The residences, located on the historic site of the Friars Club on South Santa Monica Boulevard, comprise 17 individually crafted homes and a series of meticulously designed shared spaces. The five-story building combines timeless architecture with modern luxuries, aiming to provide a personalized lifestyle that embodies elegance and discovery.
Thomas Juul-Hansen, recognized for his ability to balance contemporary luxury with classical refinement, was the driving force behind the property’s design. Drawing inspiration from the neighborhood’s inherent elegance and sophistication, Juul-Hansen integrated these elements throughout the property, creating a chic and charming destination in its design and overall experience.
The 17 residences range from 3,000 to over 7,000 square feet and feature open, flowing layouts. Each home is designed to provide a sense of grandeur, with generous amounts of natural light flooding the residences, high-quality finishes, and state-of-the-art appliances.
The residences also offer extensive amenities and services, all managed by a dedicated Rosewood team. These include a rooftop pool and fitness center, a wellness retreat, and a curated art program. Furthermore, Rosewood offers unique experiences tailored to the individual preferences of the homeowners, ranging from special reservations for birthdays or anniversaries to in-residence spa treatments.
This new venture marks a significant development in Rosewood’s residential journey. The luxury hotel and resort brand has expanded its offering to provide a unique, personalized living experience in one of the world’s most sought-after destinations.
