Montage International has partnered with real estate developer DINE and LCA Capital to embark on a construction project in Punta Mita, a highly sought-after destination in Nayarit, Mexico. The project involves the construction of two new luxury resorts, Montage Punta Mita and Pendry Punta Mita, and branded residences within the well-established Punta Mita community. The resorts are scheduled to open their doors in 2027.
Montage Punta Mita will comprise 145 guestrooms and 62 Montage Residences, while Pendry Punta Mita will feature 125 guestrooms and 32 Pendry Residences. The Montage resort, designed by Bernardi + Peschard Arquitectura, Idea Asociados, and Girvin Associates, will offer a variety of amenities, including a signature Spa Montage, an advanced fitness center, multiple dining options, resort and family pools, a sports center, and a children’s program called Paintbox.
In line with the groundbreaking, the sale of the 62 Montage Residences has been launched. These homes range from three to five bedrooms and boast up to 5,800 square feet of interior living space. They offer residents a luxurious coastal lifestyle with access to services and amenities at Montage Punta Mita. Starting prices for these residences are set at $5 million.
Pendry Punta Mita, featuring designs by Sordo Madaleno, Studio Munge, and EDSA, will host a Spa Pendry, several culinary options, a rooftop bar, a resort pool, outdoor and beach activities, a game room, and the brand’s signature children’s program, Paintbox. The Pendry Residences are slated to overlook the famed La Lancha surf break, with a sales launch planned for later in 2025.
Alan J. Fuerstman, founder, chairman, and CEO of Montage International, expressed excitement about the project, stating that this collaboration with DINE presents an opportunity to expand their footprint in Mexico and bring their unique hospitality and service style to this exclusive destination.
Alejandro de la Barreda, CEO of DINE, emphasized that the Montage Punta Mita and Pendry Punta Mita developments are significant contributors to Nayarit’s transformation and Punta Mita’s status as the leading second home and vacation destination in Mexico. He noted that the demand for luxury accommodations and real estate offerings is driven by the relaxed lifestyle, exceptional oceanfront living, and high level of service found within the community.
