These Netflix reality shows are looking for Canadians to audition

18 March 20252 Mins Read

My idea of a perfect night is binging the latest Netflix reality show series and I know I’m not alone in that. But have you ever watched one of those shows and thought to yourself, “I could totally do that”? If the answer is yes, then it’s time to get that audition tape ready. Netflix is taking applicants for a long list of reality shows and if you’re a Canadian resident, they want you!

The shows

There is truly something for everyone when it comes to Netflix reality shows. From food competitions to shows looking for love, these are the options for Canadians when it comes to auditioning:

  • Barbeque Showdown: Food/Competition
  • Is It Cake: Competition
  • Love Is Blind: Dating & Relationships/Social Experiment
  • Love On The Spectrum: Dating & Relationships
  • Nailed It: Food/Competition
  • Outlast: Competition
  • Queer Eye: Lifestyle
  • Rythem & Flow: Competition
  • Squid Game The Challenge: Competition
  • The Circle: Social Experiment/Competition
  • The Mole: Competition
  • The Ultimatum: Dating & Relationships
  • Too Hot To Handle: Dating & Relationships/Competition

Auditioning

Next up, your audition. Once you’ve selected the show or shows you’d like to be considered for, you’ll need to submit a few things. Netflix will ask you the basics such as your name, where you’re from, and your social media handles.

All that’s left to do now is upload your audition tape. The tapes have to fit some criteria, including:

  • Shot in portrait mode (vertical)
  • One minute or less
  • Your name, age and where you are from
  • Accepted video formats: .mp4, .webm, .mov
  • Up to 250 MB in size

That’s it! Yep, it really is that easy to potentially become the next big reality star.

Which of these Netflix shows are you going to audition for?
