Crescent Hotels & Resorts Welcomes Industry Veteran Elie Khoury as Chief Operating Officer

Crescent Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Elie Khoury as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Khoury, a distinguished figure in the hospitality sector, brings over three decades of operational leadership experience, ranging from asset management to engineering and brand partnerships, among others.

Khoury’s career has been marked by significant roles at some of the most respected organizations in the sector. Starting in food and beverage, he played a pivotal role in the development of successful restaurant concepts. His tenure at Interstate Hotels & Resorts involved collaboration with many of the current leaders at Crescent Hotels & Resorts, leading operations in multiple General Manager roles and overseeing complex hotels across various states and brands.

As Executive Vice President of Operations at Aimbridge, Khoury was tasked with overseeing operations across North America and international markets. His areas of expertise included brand relations, guest experience, and executive leadership development, demonstrating his commitment to excellence in the hospitality field. Additionally, Khoury brings valuable asset management expertise from his roles at Preston Hollow Community Capital and Murphy Asset Management.

Dawn Gallagher, President of Hospitality at Crescent Hotels & Resorts, expressed her excitement about Khoury’s appointment. She highlighted his extensive operational experience and focus on guest experience as critical assets that will strengthen Crescent’s operations as the company continues to expand its portfolio of resorts and luxury hotels.

Apart from his professional achievements, Khoury is also a dedicated leader in the industry. He serves as Chairman of the Board of the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association (THLA), the largest state hotel association in the U.S., and is an active member of the hospitality board at California State University, East Bay.
