Paramount Plus subscriptions are 50% off for students for a limited time

21 March 20252 Mins Read

Paramount Plus is giving students a great excuse to spend their spring break indoors. Right now, the streamer is offering a 50% discount on annual subscriptions to students.

Through April 8, students can sign up for the ad-supported 12-month subscription for $29.99 (typically $59.99). With this Essentials plan, subscribers get all of Paramount Plus’ movies and shows for only $2.50/month. That’s just over two dollars cheaper than the usual cost of the annual plan and three dollars cheaper than the monthly plan.

The Paramount Plus with Showtime plan is also discounted to $60 (typically $119.99). This ad-free plan gives subscribers access to Showtime originals and CBS live, including all 24 March Madness games which will air on the broadcast network.

The ability to stream March Madness games is enticing to many, but there are so many reasons to consider taking advantage of the deal regardless of your interest in sports. For one, there’s School Spirits, a highly underrated murder mystery series that was recently renewed for season 3. And don’t forget about all of the streamer’s Star Trek shows, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and Smile 2, plus all the Showtime shows like Yellowjackets you can finally catch up on if you choose to splurge on the ad-free sub.

To access the deal, students can go directly to this landing page, where they’ll be asked to verify their student status. Alternatively, you can scroll down to the bottom of Paramount Plus’ main sign-up page and click “Are You a Student.” Just don’t forget to sign up before April 8, when this deal expires.
