Carnival season is officially underway. And Riverview Crossing brings everything you need for your thrill fix. Think wild ride, snack shacks, bright lights and the smell of popcorn in the air. Grab a cotton candy, test your luck at the games, and scream your face off on the tilt-a-whirl.

It’s gettin’ hot in herre. Nelly’s making his way to Rogers Place for a nostalgia-packed show featuring two decades of bangers. Expect chart-toppers, crowd sing-alongs, and maybe a few unexpected collabs. Think Ja Rule, Eve, St. Lunatics, Fabolous, Jermaine Dupri, and Chingy. It’s gonna be fire!

Lovers of smooth, soulful tunes rejoice! Jesse Cook is in town and performing live at the Jubilee Auditorium this Monday. Known for his genre-blending guitar magic, Cook is set to bring together Flamenco, jazz, and world music to this much-awaited show.
With his latest album, Libre, out now, expect some fresh sounds alongside fan faves.

The city’s longest-running performing arts festival is back for its 117th year! And it’s set to feature exceptional aspiring talent of all ages. From vocals and strings to spoken word and piano, the fest is shining a spotlight on Edmonton’s next generation of performers.

It’s the last Thursday of the month. Meaning, you can check out current exhibits, including contemporary works and Alberta-made gems, at the AGA for free. With Current highlights like Aakíí isskská’takssin (Woman-thought) and Boundless: Body Language, it’s a no-brainer!

Celebrate women in film at this free indie screening night hosted by the Edmonton Short Film Fest. Eight short films will be showcased, and several directors will be in attendance for a post-screening Q&A. Plus, it’s happening at Waffle Bird, so come early for drinks and dumplings.

Movie buffs, ready for some peak ‘90s workplace chaos? Fort Edmonton Park is hosting a retro movie night with the cult-classic Office Space at the Capitol Theatre. It’s part of their monthly throwback film series, complete with vintage vibes and concessions.
