The village is tucked between Goderich and Grand Bend along the shore of Lake Huron – talk about a great location.

One of the main attractions in the area is the gorgeous Pioneer Park. The park is situated right on a bluff overlooking the lake. According to the park’s website, it’s best known for its breathtaking sunset views!

This relaxing spot also has a staircase that leads visitors down to the water – a perfect place to take an evening stroll.

If walking or hiking is your thing, then you’ll be happy to know there are plenty of options when it comes to that, as Bayfield boasts 20 hiking trails ranging in difficulty and distance.

One of the most popular trails is the Woodland Trail, a 5km loop through a beautiful woodland setting.

Main Street is also a must-stop. The street is lined with local shops and restaurants, so you can grab a bite to eat and do a little shopping to end your day.

Archies Surf Shop, Bayfield Outfitters, Calm in Bayfield, Edin Boutique, The Hive, and Pink Flamingo are just a few options for shopping along the strip. When it comes to food, Bayfield Brewing Co., Black Dog Pub & Bistro, Olio and Cowbell Brewing are a few local faves.
