Look to the skies — they could become your new commute! Emirates Airlines is hosting cabin crew hiring events all over Canada, and there’s one coming to Vancouver this week.
Emirates is holding a job fair in Metro Vancouver on Wednesday, April 23, at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown at 9 a.m.
The airline is based in Dubai, and employees are offered some fancy perks.
While the average salary is about C$4,000 per month, the perks offered to cabin crew members sweeten the deal. Plus, you get to travel the world.
Perks include free furnished accommodation in Dubai and fully covered layover expenses. The furnished accommodations include utilities and a TV, and transportation is also covered.
Employees are also entitled to 30 calendar leave days per year, including one free annual leave ticket to the country of origin.
Emirates is the world’s largest international airline. It has the biggest fleet of Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s and serves a global network through its Canadian gateways in Toronto and Montreal.
If you decide to join the team, you’re in good company. Emirates already employs nearly 200 Canadian cabin crew members and over 100 Canadian pilots, and it plans to expand through these upcoming recruitment events.
