Donald Trump’slatest photo, posted to the White House Instagram account, is once again stopping the public mid-scroll.
In honor of ‘May the 4th’ day, Trump’s team shared an AI-generated photo of the President in Star Wars attire. With his faux shredded muscles on full display, Trump held a red lightsaber and flashed a serious face at the camera, as an American flag and bald eagle could be seen in the background.

“Happy May the 4th to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting so hard to to bring Sith Lords, Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, & well known MS-13 Gang Members, back into our Galaxy. You’re not the Rebellion—you’re the Empire,” the caption read.

The force was not strong with the post, however, as it received plenty of criticism, with one person emphasizing, “Again, red lightsabers are the bad guys…” as a second echoed, “The color of the saber says it all..”
“Imagine watching Star Wars your whole life and still thinking the guy with the red lightsaber is the good guy,” another noted.

“I cannot believe this is the actual White House account. Laughingstock of the world. Wow,” another commented, with someone else stating, “This is honestly so embarrassing.”
“is this not supposed to be a professional page?” one questioned.
Others seemed to be in favor of the administration’s approach to social media, stating, “I love it!” as someone else stated, “Donald trump Kenobi 🔥🔥🔥”
This is just the latest AI-generated image shared by the President to receive backlash, as hours earlier, representatives for the Catholic church issued a direct response to the president’s polarizing photograph which depicts him as the next pope.
For those who missed it, on May 2, the White House posted a shot that imagined Trump wearing the Pontiff’s religious robes, proving to be a highly controversial move in between the death of Pope Francis and the declaration of his successor.
