Cineplex will discount VIP tickets on select days this month in Canada

7 May 20251 Min Read

Cineplex has kicked off a new promotion for VIP admission throughout the month of May.

Every Wednesday, you’ll be able to get a VIP ticket for the cost of regular admission, plus the $1.50 online booking fee. While pricing may vary slightly depending on where you are in Canada and what you’re seeing, VIP admission for Thunderbolts* at Toronto’s Yonge & Dundas theatre, for instance, costs $26.75, versus $16.25 for standard admission. That said, it’s a flat $15 if you buy the VIP Wednesday admission.

Cineplex VIP theatres offer more premium and comfortable seating (with recliners at select locations) and specialty in-seat service for meals, snacks, drinks and more. They also feature VIP lounges at which you can dine before or after your movie.

Cineplex’s VIP promotion comes amid a string of high-profile movie releases. First, Ryan Coogler’s acclaimed Sinners continues to go strong from April, while Marvel’s Thunderbolts* just opened in theatres to strong reviews. Other notable movies coming later this month include Final Destination Bloodlines (May 16), Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning and Lilo & Stitch (both May 23) and Karate Kid: Legends (May 30).
