Minor Hotels has declared a strategic repositioning of Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites, transitioning from serviced apartments to a full-service brand.

Minor Hotels has announced a strategic evolution of Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites, marking a transition from serviced apartments to a full-service hotel, resort, and suites brand. The revamp aims to enhance the guest experience and establish a globally resonant and distinctive brand identity in a fiercely competitive market.

The brand’s transformation includes scalable and unique hallmarks, bringing to life the full-service hotel and resort experience. Property common areas will feature mixed-use applications. Guests will have access to grab-and-go pantries filled with travel essentials, locally sourced products, and branded merchandise, offering convenience and a glimpse into local culture. Integrated lobbies will offer barista-made coffee and freshly baked goods, creating spaces for guests and locals to stay, work, and socialize.

The new brand features are based on a hospitality-driven service culture. These include an updated food and beverage offering with a focus on communal dining. Each location will offer a signature gourmet lamington unique to its location.

In-room enhancements reflect the brand’s renewed energy. Upgraded bathroom amenities, featuring a signature scent of citrus, lavender, and eucalyptus, are designed to rejuvenate guests. A nighttime ritual with soothing sounds and light snacks ensures restful sleep. Wellness continues to be a focus, with yoga and meditation classes available via in-room TVs. Selected properties will also offer sunrise swims and run clubs.

The brand’s refreshed identity includes a bold new logo and color palette, integrating vibrant yellow and a signature Oaks stripe. Property interiors will feature warm timber textures, soft neutrals, and indoor greenery, creating an inviting environment that merges the indoors with the outdoors.
