IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A change of direction is a must this year as you have reached the end of your current journey and need a new challenge. Make a break with the past and make it one that cannot be reversed. Move forward fast and don’t look back.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Someone you meet on your travels will catch your eye and maybe your heart as well. If it’s true that opposites attract you could find yourself getting close to someone whose charms are very different to your own – and remarkably the relationship will work.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Someone you think of as a friend will say something today that annoys you intensely. It may be the case though that they can see things that you cannot, so be open to what they tell you. They could be doing you a very big favor.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

If you listen too much to other people’s advice today you could end up facing in several directions at once and ultimately getting nowhere. Pay attention to what friends and family members have to say but let your instincts guide your final choices.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

If you don’t feel like getting involved in a project you either don’t know much about or don’t think is going to be a success then walk away from it right now. No one but you has the right to decide how to use your time and energy.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

A business endeavour is at the point where you have to decide whether to invest more into it or whether to cut your losses and call it a day. Only you can make that decision but it must be made before the start of next week.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Jupiter in the career area of your chart urges you to be ambitious but a nagging voice at the back of your head says not to take chances. It doesn’t have to be one or the other though – you can aim high without being silly about it.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Your confidence will soar today and all kinds of crazy ideas will get into your head. Fortunately, as the sign of harmony and balance it’s unlikely you will do anything too outrageous or dangerous – though it won’t stop you wanting to!

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Something you felt unable to say to a friend in the past must be said now. Forget about how your words might hurt their feelings and be 100 per cent honest in your appraisal of what they are up to. One day they will thank you for it.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

The more others praise you today the more suspicious you will be of their motives, but there is really no need. According to the planets they genuinely do believe you are the best thing since sliced bread, so feel free to enjoy the adulation.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You must learn to delegate more. No doubt it is true that you can do most things better than your colleagues but you cannot do them all at the same time, so trust others to at least make an adequate job of what you cannot do yourself.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Jupiter in the most dynamic area of you chart means you have it in your power to turn an average success into a major one. Aim for nothing less than excellence in everything you do today and over the weekend, and expect it from other people too.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Family matters are under excellent stars now and any disagreements you’ve had with loved ones over the past week or two can easily be resolved. Remind yourself often that you are on the same side and should be looking out for one another.
