You can stay in a loft overlooking a stunning vineyard at this Ontario winery

14 May 20252 Mins Read

There’s just something about summer and vineyards that pair perfectly! If you’re exploring Ontario wine country this year, you’ll want to add Three Dog Winery to your list.

Located in Prince Edward County, just 15 minutes outside of Picton, this family-owned gem has 10 acres of vines, large outdoor and indoor seating areas, and some seriously sip-worthy Canadian wines to try by the glass, in curated flights, or through private tastings.

Their bottles have racked up several awards over the years, including gold medals from the Ontario Wine Awards and the All Canadian Wine Championships for standouts like the 2023 Pinot Grigio, 2022 Gamay, and 2023 Dog House Rosé.

And the best part? You can stay the night!

Tucked above the private tasting space is a cozy, open concept studio loft that offers gorgeous views of the vineyards below. In the summer, guests have their own private patio for soaking up the sun. And come winter, the surrounding back trails are perfect for snowshoeing.

The loft also comes with all the essentials, like WiFi, heating and air conditioning, a kitchen with cooking appliances, and an outdoor BBQ grill.

Fuel your stay with wood-fired pizzas served up at the winery on summer weekends, charcuterie and cheese boards, and weekly live music from local artists.

And if you want to explore further, Picton itself has a whole host of restaurants, breweries, and more to explore.

Because, let’s be real, why would you want to leave?!
