There is no stopping Taylor Sheridan. The creator of Yellowstone has an overall deal with Paramount+ to create content for their streamer, but Sheridan is creating the film F.A.S.T. for Warner Bros. in a deal that predates his deal with Paramount. Sheridan has written several critically-acclaimed films like Sicario, Wind River and Those Who Wish Me Dead before he went on to create Yellowstone for Paramount.
Yellowstone has been a juggernaut for Sheridan and Paramount. The Yellowstone world has expanded into several series including prequel series 1883 and 1923, the upcoming present-day series The Madison starring Matthew Fox and Michelle Pfeiffer, an unnamed Yellowstone spinoff series with Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser and the recently announced Y: Marshals featuring Luke Grimes in the lead reprising his role as Kacey Dutton.
Separate from the Yellowstone universe however is F.A.S.T., so whether you are craving more Yellowstone or have never watched an episode, F.A.S.T. might be up your alley.

What is F.A.S.T. about?
F.A.S.T. is about a former special forces commando who is tapped by drug enforcement officials to lead a black op strike team against CIA-protected drug dealers. It remains unclear just what the acronym stands for though.

Who wrote F.A.S.T.?
Taylor Sheridan has penned most episodes of Yellowstone, 1923, 1883, Landman, and his many other series over at Paramount+. He has also written the feature films Sicario, Wind River, and Those That Wish Me Dead. He’s also the writer of F.A.S.T.
When does F.A.S.T. premiere?
You will have to wait awhile for this one. F.A.S.T. is scheduled to premiere on Friday, April 23, 2027.

Meet the cast of F.A.S.T.

Right now, Brandon Sklenar is the only actor that is attached to the movie. Sklenar was one of the breakout stars of 1923, which had both Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren headlining the prequel story of how the Dutton Ranch we see in present-day Yellowstone came to be. Sklenar recently appeared in This is Us. His previous credits include Walker: Independence, Westworld and Midway.
When does production begin on F.A.S.T.?
No word yet on when production will begin on F.A.S.T. As the film isn’t due in theaters until April 2027, there’s still some time for production to ramp up. Check back here for updates!
