  • The new Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre is Radisson Hotel Group’s first property to attain Verified Net Zero status, exceeding the Net Zero Methodology for Hotels’ requirements for 2040.
  • The hotel recently underwent extensive renovations and is close to the AO Arena and Manchester Victoria train station.

Radisson Hotel Group has introduced its first Radisson-branded hotel in Manchester, the Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre, A Verified Net Zero Hotel. This property has also achieved Verified Net Zero status, fulfilling the Net Zero Methodology for Hotels’ requirements for 2040.

The hotel recently underwent significant refurbishment and is a short distance from the AO Arena and Manchester Victoria train station. It offers an ideal location for visitors to the popular arena and provides both local and national rail connections due to its proximity to the station.

The hotel’s design is inspired by the clean, modern Scandinavian aesthetic, with neutral colors and natural design elements. It has 252 guest rooms and suites, a bar and restaurant, and an outdoor terrace.

The Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre offers amenities for groups and family gatherings, including rooms with two double beds and open-plan spaces for relaxation and socializing. The hotel also features a spa, heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gym, and state-of-the-art event facilities that can accommodate up to 220 attendees.

The Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre is part of Radisson Hotel Group’s initiative to lead the way in sustainable hospitality. The hotel’s Verified Net Zero status means that all operational carbon emissions are compensated using Nature Based carbon credits, and the hotel uses 100% renewable energy for all functions.

The hotel has installed heat pumps to generate hot water and uses a fully electrified kitchen for cooking, eliminating gas use. It also offers low-carbon menus developed in partnership with Klimato, a Swedish company.

In addition to its sustainability efforts, the hotel is conveniently located near shopping, cultural, and leisure destinations in Manchester, such as Selfridges, Corn Exchange Manchester, Manchester Cathedral, and the National Football Museum. The hotel adds to Radisson Hotel Group’s existing portfolio in Manchester, which includes the Radisson Blu Hotel, Manchester Airport, and The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel.
