21 May 20253 Mins Read

Hospital Playlist star Jung Kyung Ho is joined by So Ju Yeon and Lee Yoo Young in Netflix’s upcoming K-Drama Pro Bono, which is expected to stream on Netflix in November 2025. Here’s everything we know so far.

Pro Bono is an upcoming licensed South Korean Netflix Original comedy law drama directed by Kim Seong Yoon and Moon Yoo Seok.

When is Pro Bono coming to Netflix?

According to the X user, ggonigon, who has been an extremely reliable source of information for K-dramas, Pro Bono will be broadcast on TVN sometime in 2025, and will aired simultaneously on Netflix.

The translated image states that Pro Bono is due to begin broadcasting on November 22nd, 2025, but an end date has not been listed because the number of episodes has not been confirmed. However, MyDramaList has listed the series for 12 episodes, which means the series finale would be broadcast on December 28th, 2025. For now, we await official confirmation.

We also don’t have official confirmation from Netflix that the K-drama is coming to the streaming service. What also remains unclear is whether or not Pro Bono will be distributed internationally or if it will be limited to territories such as Asia.

We expect to learn more closer to the release of Pro Bono.

Each episode will have a runtime of 70 minutes. Episodes will be broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays.

What is the plot of Pro Bono?

Kang David is a highly successful judge, and while he succeeds thanks to his efficiency and quick thinking, his major flaw is his obsession with materialism and success. One day, an unexpected crisis lands takes Kang David away from the bench, and he becomes a public interest lawyer.

Who are the cast members of Pro Bono?

There are three confirmed leads for Pro Bono: Jung Kyung Ho, So Ju Yeon, and Lee Yoo Young.

Jung Kyung Ho plays Kang David. The actor is beloved for his roles in the popular K-dramas Hospital Playlist, Crash Course in Romance, and Prison Playbook. He has also held several guest roles in dramas such as Resident Playbook, The Trunk, and Crash Landing on You.
