While it’s definitely in vogue, the midi flick is nothing new, says hairstylist Joey Wheeler at Richard Ward salon. It’s a cut he’s done hundreds of times, in various iterations. “It’s all about a mid-length cut with a little bit of a grown-out fringe,” says Wheeler.
