Toronto’s weather forecast just dropped and it’s so typically Toronto it hurts, Life in canada

26 May 20252 Mins Read

After a dreary, rainy weekend, Torontonians will finally be basking in the sunshine this week. However, in typical fashion, the Toronto weather will keep us guessing.

Residents of the city will have woken up to sun and clear blue skies on Monday morning and boy, we have earned it!

The weekend was a washout, with torrential rain on Sunday afternoon, while Saturday was overcast.

However, Environment Canada is forecasting highs of 22 C in the city on Monday and Tuesday, with mostly sunny conditions across both days.

It would be best to make hay while the sun shines, though. Go for a walk in your local park, go for a run, meet your friends for a few beverages on a patio, or watch the sunset in Riverdale Park East because the beautiful weather is only here for a short while.

According to Environment Canada, temperatures will drop to a chilly 14 C in Toronto by Wednesday, with clouds rolling in and the dreaded rain returning as showers.

It might be a good day for a cozy indoor plan — or finally folding that laundry you’ve been ignoring.

Temperatures will increase on Thursday and Friday to 17 C and 19 C respectively, but there will still be a risk of showers on both days.

Saturday will still be 19 C, but it will be much brighter. There will be a mix of sun and clouds, and hopefully, the rain will stay away.

June will start off pleasantly on Sunday, with highs of 22 C in The 6ix. Here’s hoping it lasts!

So, enjoy Monday and Tuesday’s warm, sunny weather, but keep the rain jacket and umbrella close by during the latter part of your working week. But we’ll be rewarded with a good weekend weather-wise, at least!

Hopefully, June will be drier and warmer than this month. Could you please give us some consistency, Toronto?
