1 Hotel Copenhagen, situated at Krystalgade 22 in the center of Copenhagen, Denmark, is preparing to open in August: the hotel, a redevelopment of the former Skt. Petri Hotel, will feature 282 rooms, including 252 guest rooms and 30 suites.

The property is strategically located to give guests easy access to prominent Copenhagen landmarks such as Tivoli Gardens, the Round Tower, Rosenborg Castle, and the Botanical Garden. It is also conveniently near key transportation links like Nørreport Station, Copenhagen Central Station, and Copenhagen Airport.

1 Hotel Copenhagen is designed with sustainability in mind, aligning with LEED Gold and BREEAM Excellent standards. The hotel incorporates energy-efficient operations and features a garden that supplies herbs and edible flowers for its restaurant. An on-site bee hotel is also part of the hotel’s biodiversity and environmental initiatives.

The hotel’s interior design emphasizes natural materials such as oak, linen, and limestone and includes handcrafted Danish furnishings. It also features a biophilic focus, integrating organic textures and native greenery to enhance the guest experience.

Dining options at 1 Hotel Copenhagen include Fjora, led by Green Michelin-starred Chef Chantelle Nicholson, focusing on local ingredients and Nordic culinary traditions. The hotel also houses PÆRE, a bar that offers seasonally changing cocktails with freshly foraged botanicals, and the Farmstand, a market-style hub offering fresh, seasonal produce.

For events and meetings, the hotel provides several spaces, such as Oak, which can accommodate up to 200 guests, and smaller venues such as Juniper, Poplar, and Ember, suitable for groups of 16 to 24. These spaces reflect the hotel’s commitment to biophilic design and functionality.

The hotel’s wellness facilities include The Field House Gym, a 24-hour fitness center offering various personal training and group fitness options. Additionally, the Bamford Wellness Spa, which will open in early 2026, will provide a range of therapies and treatments inspired by nature.
