IHG Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Palm Holdings, is set to expand its presence in London with the introduction of two new properties: voco London – Waterloo and Hotel Indigo & Suites London – Waterloo. The development will add over 350 rooms to IHG’s portfolio in the city.

The voco London – Waterloo will feature 182 rooms and the Hotel Indigo & Suites London – Waterloo, which marks the brand’s debut in Europe, will include 172 guestrooms and suites. This property is designed to offer a boutique experience, reflecting the unique character of the local neighborhood.

Both hotels will share several amenities, including dining options, a gym, and a business center, catering to leisure and business travelers. The location offers proximity to major attractions such as The Southbank, the Royal Festival Hall, the London Eye, and the London Aquarium. Additionally, the area is rich in dining and entertainment options, with easy access to Waterloo Station, facilitating travel across London and other UK destinations.

The project is part of IHG’s broader strategy to increase its footprint across the UK and Ireland, where it currently operates 363 hotels with an additional 33 in development.

The development is also focused on sustainability, targeting BREEAM Excellent certification. To minimize environmental impact, it will incorporate renewable energy solutions like Air-Source Heat Pumps and Solar Panels.

Studio Moren is handling the architectural and design aspects of the project, alongside other specialized consultants, including HTS Structural Engineers and Applied Energy MEP Consultants.
