“Death Star Sabotage,” Fortnite’s next live event, takes place on Saturday, June 7. It marks the end of the Galactic Battle, a Star Wars-themed mini-season in Fortnite Chapter 6.

What time does the Death Star Sabotage live start in Fortnite?
As announced on Fortnite’s website, the battle against Emperor Palpatine will start on Saturday, June 7, at 2 p.m. EDT. Here’s when that is in your time zone:
Note that the event button will become available at the top of the “Discover” section two hours before the start of the event. If you log in early, you can fly an X-wing or Imperial TIE fighter while you wait for Death Star Sabotage to begin.
Based on previous live events, Death Star Sabotage will likely last between 20 and 30 minutes, so don’t be late!
What to expect from the Death Star Sabotage live event in Fortnite
As the finale to Fortnite’s Star Wars collaboration event “Galactic Battle,” which started on May 2, the Death Star Sabotage live event will be the final attempt to save the Battle Royale Island from the all-destroying Death Star Superlaser.
Although the details are to remain a surprise, you should probably expect a linear story with some epic cutscenes and a few gameplay sections (flying around, shooting things — you know the drill). At the start of the event, you’ll be able to form a squad with up to four players in total.
You may be sad to see the Galactic Battle coming to an end (or relieved to be free of Jar Jar Binks skins and “Skibidi Toilet” Darth Vaders), but you probably won’t have to wait long for the next Fortnite Season. If it follows the usual Fortnite schedule, it will likely start on Sunday, June 8.
