IHG has entered into a hotel management agreement with Nha Trang Bay JSC to open the voco Scenia Bay Nha Trang in Vietnam by the end of 2025.
IHG Hotels & Resorts is set to increase its portfolio in Vietnam by introducing a new property under its voco brand, called voco Scenia Bay Nha Trang. This development is a collaboration with Nha Trang Bay JSC, a member of the GreenSpark Group. The hotel is scheduled to commence operations near the end of 2025.
Located in the coastal city of Nha Trang, the voco Scenia Bay Nha Trang will feature 250 rooms distributed across 28 floors, offering panoramic sea views. The property is strategically positioned within a major real estate development by Nha Trang Bay JSC, part of a broader tourism masterplan to boost the region’s growth potential.
The new hotel will have various amenities, including a swimming pool, multiple dining options, bars, and meeting facilities. It will be less than an hour from Cam Ranh International Airport and near popular local attractions such as Nha Trang Beach, Ponagar Temple, and Vinh Hai Market.
This addition to IHG’s portfolio marks the company’s fourth hotel in the region, joining other properties such as InterContinental Nha Trang, InterContinental Residences Nha Trang, and Six Senses Ninh Van Bay.
The tourism sector in Nha Trang, and more broadly in Khánh Hòa Province, has shown significant growth. In 2024, the province recorded a 10.8 million visitor turnout, including 4.8 million international tourists. This surge is attributed to the area’s appealing beaches, diving sites, and culinary offerings.
IHG currently operates 20 hotels across eight brands in Vietnam and has 22 properties in its development pipeline.
