Hershey's 'Iconic' Chocolate Flavor 'Fuels' New Release

10 June 20253 Mins Read

Hershey’s Chocolate Bars aren’t just a sweet treat anymore, thanks to an all-new collaboration that will “fuel” your body with protein.

On Tuesday, the popular protein bar ONE (which was acquired by The Hershey Company in 2019) unveiled another co-branded product inspired by a different but equally popular candy made by the company. The new addition is the second in the collaborative flavor line, following the apparent success of Reese’s ONE Protein Bar, which was released not too long ago.

Just like its predecessor, the new Hershey’s Double Chocolate ONE Protein Bar contains a whopping 18 grams of protein, which is higher than some other protein bars. But to make it even sweeter for those watching their daily sugar intake, this new flavor has even less sugar per serving–a total of 1 gram versus the 3 grams found in its Reese’s flavor. It also contains 5 grams of fiber per serving.

Made with real Hershey’s cocoa and chocolate chips, the new protein bar flavor promises to deliver “double the rich, chocolate experience to power every on-the-go lifestyle without compromise.” The company also confirmed the latest variety to be gluten-free and Kosher.

New ONE x Hershey’s Double Chocolate flavored protein bar, with 18g of protein and just 1g of sugar.

ONE’s brand manager, Deanna Lyons, described the new offering as “a sweet, satisfying and unforgettable flavor experience” and not “just another convenient and nutritious snack.”

“Our fans are always on-the-move, and with ONE, they can stay deliciously fueled with double the iconic Hershey’s flavor,” Lyons added.

To help get the word out, Hershey’s and ONE enlisted the help of pro golfer Bryson DeChambeau, who vouched for the new release in a statement. “When I’m out on the course, I want something that’s tasty, fast, and keeps me going,” DeChambeau shared, suggesting, “The ONE x Hershey’s Double Chocolate flavored protein bar nails it!”

“It’s loaded with protein and has that classic Hershey’schocolate taste—so I get the best of both worlds and the fuel I need to stay locked in,” DeChambeau concluded.

ONE’s new Hershey’s-flavored protein bar is currently available in select markets and online, with a nationwide rollout planned for the near future, according to the company’s June 10 announcement.

To celebrate the big debut, the brands challenged DeChambeau to “double” his viral hole-in-one shot made over his house, and should he succeed, fans who sign up for the contest on Monday, June 16 at noon eastern will score a ONE x Hershey’s Double Chocolate flavored protein bar, only while supplies last.
