There’s an Ontario beach with a soft sandy shoreline and warm waters

14 June 20252 Mins Read

Beach days ahead! Long Point Beach is nestled along the warm waters of Lake Erie, an ideal location for those looking to escape and lie by the sandy shore for a day. Pack your beach bag and pick a sunny day. Here’s what to know about Long Point.

The beach is located in Port Rowan, found within the beautiful Long Point Provincial Park.

The beach stretches just over 2 km, with soft sand making it ideal for families to enjoy for the day.

You’ll need to enter the Ontario Park to access the beach, and you will need to acquire a day pass at the entrance of the park.

Once you’re at the shore, you can chill for the day! The beach has BBQ pits and washroom facilities, meaning all you have to do is pack some snacks and your beach essentials.

Lake Erie’s waters are known for being some of the warmest in the province, so if you decide to take a dip, you won’t have to worry about getting too cold.

Not only is this beach known for warm water, but Lake Erie’s shores are also a go-to place to catch an epic sunset.

Grab your family or your group of besties and take advantage of this beautiful beach.
