Being a Costco shopper is something like a secret society. While there’s technically not really a secret untold about the warehouse—thanks to shoppers always spilling the beans on social media—there’s always something that you’ll find along the shelves and aisles that you never knew called the space home. Looking for a new bakery item? You’re bound to spot something new nearly every week there. On the hunt for a new homeware item? You can bet you’ll find something unexpected at Costco, too. It’s like a wonderland of new and returning items that can make your day better than expected.
Of course, news of items hitting the bakery section or food court are big reasons to keep fans coming back, but another thing that keeps members coming back for more is when the warehouse brings back fan-favorite items. And this time, Costco is brining back the popular Mango on Sticky Rice item that flew off shelves quicker than you can imagine in 2024.

Brought to us by Green & Sunny, the dessert—which was spotted back in the freezer aisle by @costcobuys—is made with Thai mango set atop sweet coconut-infused sticky rice. Each treat is then topped off with a drizzle of coconut milk sauce and crispy mung beans. Touted as being 100-percent plant based, the 22.57-ounce box comes with four trays that features a single dessert and is priced at $15.59.
Though the main consensus of shoppers seemed to be excitement over the item’s return, there were a few people in the comment section of the post who were a bit on the fence.
“I almost bought it but it seems expensive to me,” said one person. “Costco why so many mango products? Four kinds of dried mangos and you replaced Dole whip pineapple with mango. There cannot possibly be that many people with unfulfilled mango dreams you’ve covered it,” stated another.
While the nearly $16 price tag may cause some jaws to drop, if you break it down, it balances out to be just about $4 per dessert. But for something that’s as good as everyone says this is, four bucks is a pretty small price to pay for pure happiness.
