‘Suits’ Leaving Netflix In Select Regions From July 2025 (But Is Safe in US For Now)

Across nine seasons, Suits became a fan favorite around the globe, and for most, the way they’ve enjoyed the series or experienced it for the first time is through Netflix. Now, however, the USA Network is potentially bidding farewell to Netflix with its first wave of removals planned for July 2025. Here’s what you need to know about Suits‘ departure from Netflix, where you live.

To say that Suits is a juggernaut for viewership on Netflix is a bit of an understatement. According to the Netflix Engagement Reports, covering viewership from 2023 to 2024, the series garnered 3.801 billion hours watched globally, equivalent to 331.3 million views. As you may recall, Netflix licensed the series in the US in mid-2023, during the height of the actors’ and writers’ strike, and took over the top 10 charts despite having been available in most international territories for several years. Its popularity spike even led to a spin-off being made, which was subsequently canceled.

As you may have read, however, Suits is set to start streaming on Netflix, although it will initially be available in international regions first, and it will remain safe in some key countries for a while longer.

Suits is leaving Netflix internationally in July 2025

The removal impacts the majority of Netflix regions, including (but not limited to):

  • Netflix in Latin America, such as Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico
  • Netflix in European countries like Switzerland, the Czech Republic, France, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Poland, Romania, Spain, and the Nordics
  • Netflix in Asia, such as Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, and India
  • Plus other regions like Australia and Israel

For the vast majority of these countries, you’ve now been streaming Suits for the best part of a decade. Many international regions first licensed the show as far back as 2015, with new seasons arriving on Netflix throughout its run.

For all these regions, the series will be leaving Netflix on July 17th, 2025, meaning your last day to watch will be July 16th.

There is, however, a significant caveat. Netflix can and may opt to renew the license in these regions, meaning that this removal date is absolutely subject to change. Should it change, we’ll keep you posted.

What about Suits removal from Netflix in other countries?

A few countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada, are not currently displaying removal notices. Let’s address those below, as many will lose the show; however, in the cases of some, it won’t be for a few more months, or, if you’re in the US, for another couple of years.

  • For those in the United Kingdom, the license for all seasons currently runs through to September 25th, 2025.
  • For those in Canada, the license currently runs through April 16, 2026.
  • For those in the United States who were late to pick up the show and initially licensed for only two years, the license has now been renewed for another two years, with the removal planned for July 1st, 2027.

We have reached out to Netflix, given the significant licensing agreement Suits is, but they have yet to respond to our request for comment and context.
