The weather this weekend might be a mixed bag, but there is no shortage of things worth leaving the house for. From concerts and pop-ups to markets and musicals, here are 11 wonderful things to do and see in Calgary. Enjoy!

Have you picked an outfit for the Stampede yet? The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth is just around the corner, and this weekend, you can shop custom hats, boot charms, patched denim, and even get a tiny tattoo.

Mamma Mia! Here, we go again. This Friday, check out a candlelight tribute concert to Abba! Tickets are going quickly, so don’t hesitate to snag yours now.

When: Friday, June 20, 2025

Where: 1009 15th Ave. SW, Calgary
Admission: $40+

Ready to party? Epic Weekends at Spruce Meadows have officially kicked off and will feature outdoor movies, corgi and dachshund races, show jumping, food, drinks, and even kids’ activities. The very best part? Tickets start at just $5 for seniors and kids aged 8 to 12 and will be $15 for adults. Kids under 8 get in for FREE.

When: Fridays to Sundays from June 27 to 29, and July 4 to 6, 2025
Times: Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A celebration “rooted in tradition.” This weekend, head to Calgary’s Heritage Park for a National Indigenous Peoples Day event with plenty to do, see, learn, and listen to.

Another Saturday has arrived, and with it, the Farmers and Makers Market! This weekend, shop over 50 local farm, food and craft artisan vendors, breathe in the fresh air, and grab a bite to eat at one of the many food trucks.
