Taylor Swift paid her childhood city a visit tonight (June 24), returning to Nashville, Tennessee to put on a very special performance at her boyfriend’s — Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce’s — Tight Ends & Friends concert at the Brooklyn Bowl.
Featuring performances from Jordan Davis, Chase Rice, Sophia Scott, Graham Barham and more, Tight Ends & Friends was the best way to kick off of Kelce, George Kittle and Greg Olsen’s annual Tight End University event.
For those who are unfamiliar, Tight End University was created to “bring the tight end community together for an immersive three-day program,” where “attendees are able to bond, collaborate with and learn amongst their peers while participating in a variety of activities including film study, on-field drills, recovery, rehabilitation and more.”
Taking place this week, Swift certainly got football fanatics geared up for the three-day program, causing the crowd to go wild as she and Kane Brown surprised fans with a performance of “Shake It Off” at Tight Ends & Friends.

After everyone had performed, the 14-time GRAMMY Award winner took the stage, explaining what exactly prompted her to do so. “We were up there having some drinks, and we were thinking like, ‘How loud could this place get? Theoretically, how loud could the singing be in here?'” she recalled.
“I was like, ‘I don’t have a guitar,’ and then Chase Rice was like, ‘You can use mine,’ so we would like to dedicate this to our favorite players who are going to play, and these are the Titans,” she continued, before beginning “Shake It Off” alongside Brown.

The pair had quite the time together, singing and dancing the chart-topping tune to a crowd of oh-so excited fans. Said fans naturally had a field day, freaking out over the unexpected duet, simultaneously sharing their thoughts all over social media.
“Kane Brown and Taylor Swift absolutely nailed their surprise performance of ‘Shake It Off,'” one fan exclaimed via TikTok, while another added, “I’m so jealous omgggg!”
