IHG Hotels & Resorts has opened the Garner Hotel Edinburgh – Haymarket, a 195-room property in partnership with Palm Holdings.
IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of the Garner Hotel Edinburgh – Haymarket, marking the brand’s debut in Scotland. The 195-room hotel is situated in the West End of Edinburgh, directly opposite Haymarket Station and near key attractions such as Edinburgh Castle, the EICC, Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh Zoo, and Princes Street. This opening comes ahead of the city’s summer festival season.
The Garner Hotel Edinburgh – Haymarket is part of IHG’s midscale conversion brand, Garner Hotels, which launched in 2023 and is expanding across Europe. The hotel offers modern accommodations, including plush bedding, blackout blinds, parking, 24/7 snack access, and grab-and-go breakfast options.
The hotel has partnered with local establishment Platform 5 to provide guests with breakfast options and exclusive food and drink discounts. This collaboration aims to enhance the guest experience by offering a taste of local hospitality.
The opening of the Garner Hotel Edinburgh – Haymarket adds to IHG’s global portfolio, which includes 23 open Garner hotels and 94 in development. In Europe, the brand is expanding with 61 open and pipeline properties, including locations in the UK, Italy, Turkiye, and the DACH market.
