54 Below presents a new musical, “Twelve Maids” —

28 June 20252 Mins Read

54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, presents “Twelve Maids” on August 12, 2025 at 9:30 p.m. Created by Amanda Fischler (book/lyrics) and Adam Gloc (composer/music director), this captivating new musical takes audiences behind the scenes of life in Ithaca during Odysseus’s absence, from the perspective of the palace maids— women who have remained nameless and voiceless across millennia of retellings until now.

The musical centers on Melantho, Penelope’s favorite maid, whose journey drives a sweeping narrative about loyalty, betrayal, and the courage to forge one’s own destiny. The cast features Amanda Fischler (Life Insurance), Griffin Hutchins (Elf the Musical), Michelle Jennings (Titanic The Musical), Ari Mack (Macbeth), Tania Mazariego (Life Insurance), Gabbi McCarren (Catching Fireflies), and Peter Rezkalla (Elf the Musical). Joined by swings Thomas Deen Baker and Kaden Potak, this staged concert presentation offers audiences a first glimpse at a work that transforms the palace maids into the protagonists of their own stories.

“Twelve Maids” debuts at 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on August 12, 2025 at 9:30 p.m. Cover charges are $29.50 (includes $4.50 in fees) – $40.50 (includes $5.50 in fees.) Premiums are $68 (includes $8 in fees.) There is a $25 food and beverage minimum. Tickets and information are available at www.54Below.org/TwelveMaids. Tickets on the day of performance after 7:00 p.m. are only available by calling (646) 476-3551.
