New Hilton Curio Collection Hotel to Open Early 2026 in London’s Financial District

Hilton has signed an agreement to open The Derby London City, Curio Collection by Hilton, in London’s Square Mile by early 2026.

Hilton has announced plans to open The Derby London City, Curio Collection by Hilton, in the Square Mile, London’s financial district. The new hotel is part of a franchise agreement with real estate developer Dominus and is scheduled to open in early 2026. This development will mark the tenth Curio Collection by Hilton property in the United Kingdom.

The hotel will be located on Great Tower Street, repurposing a former office building. It will feature 237 guest rooms, including 10 suites, and offer views of notable London landmarks. The property will also include an all-day dining restaurant, a coffee house, and a bar named Rycrofte’s, which will serve British cuisine. Additional amenities will include a 24-hour gym, meeting rooms, and private dining spaces.

The location of The Derby London City is strategic, being close to the Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, and eight London Underground stations. This positioning is expected to appeal to both business travelers and tourists.

Dominus, which owns the hotel, will manage it under its Dominus Hospitality platform. The company has been involved in the refurbishment and upgrade of the existing building, with a focus on sustainable design practices.

The new hotel is aligned with the City of London Corporation’s Destination City program, which aims to enhance the Square Mile as a leading business and leisure destination. The initiative seeks to accommodate the increasing number of visitors and workers in the area.

The Derby London City will join other hotels managed by Dominus, including Lost Property St. Paul’s London and Hampton by Hilton Bath City.
