FITUR 2026 to Feature Expanded Knowledge Hub for Tourism Innovation

4 July 20252 Mins Read

FITUR 2026 will introduce the Knowledge Hub in Hall 12, focusing on technological advancements in the tourism sector from January 21 to 25 at IFEMA MADRID.

FITUR 2026, the International Tourism Trade Fair, will take place from January 21 to 25 at IFEMA MADRID, featuring the introduction of the Knowledge Hub in Hall 12. This new addition aims to enhance the fair’s focus on technological innovation within the tourism industry.

The Knowledge Hub will serve as the central location for the Travel Technology area, which has expanded by more than 35% since last year. It will host over 100 companies from 20 countries, highlighting the role of technology in transforming the tourism industry. The area will also include FITUR TechY, organized in collaboration with the Spanish Hotel Technology Institute (ITH).

Hall 12 will accommodate leading technology companies, including Amadeus, Travelgate, BeonX, Duetto, Ratehawk, and Mirai. This setup aims to consolidate the fair’s focus on technology as a significant feature of the event. Additionally, the Knowledge Hub will centralize content from FITUR Know-How & Export, FITUR Sports, FITUR Talent, and the FITURNEXT Sustainability Observatory.

The strategic location of the Knowledge Hub in the southeast of the Trade Fair Centre will provide a direct entrance to FITUR, creating a new circulation aisle linking Halls 4 and 12. This configuration is designed to facilitate and redistribute the flow of professional visitors, enhancing accessibility and visibility for exhibitors.

FITUR 2026 will occupy nine halls in total, showcasing a wide range of offerings from the global tourism value chain. Hall 3 will feature the Americas, Hall 4 will host Europe and FITUR Cruises, and Halls 5, 7, and 9 will focus on Spain, with FITUR LGTB+ in Hall 9. Hall 6 will cover the Middle East and Africa, Hall 8 will focus on Asia-Pacific and Global Business, and Hall 10 will include Global Business, FITUR 4all, FITUR Lingua, FITUR Screen, and FITUR Woman.

The event will open exclusively to professionals during the weekdays, with the general public welcome over the weekend in the other eight halls. This arrangement aims to create a specialized environment for industry professionals while maintaining a broader appeal for public visitors.

More details are available at FITUR.
