tristar Austria GmbH will manage a new ibis Styles hotel in Wörgl, Austria, as part of a district development project led by Thurner Immobilien Gruppe and Sparkasse Kufstein.

tristar Austria GmbH has been selected to operate an ibis Styles hotel in Wörgl, Austria. The hotel will be part of a district development project in the city center, managed by Thurner Immobilien Gruppe in collaboration with Sparkasse Kufstein. The project, valued at approximately EUR 100 million, aims to revitalize the region and enhance urban development in Wörgl.

The new hotel will be built on a 6,800-square-meter site, previously occupied by older hotels and office buildings. It will feature 104 rooms and 230 beds, covering around 3,800 square meters of usable space. The hotel is part of the “Wörgl Mitte” project, which aims to establish a new city center in Wörgl.

The development will also include a shared underground garage with 321 parking spaces. Of these, 155 spaces on the first level will be available to the public. The design includes additional turn lanes for improved access to the underground parking from the main intersection at B171 near the church.

In addition to the hotel, the project will feature office spaces, apartments, and dining venues. The new Sparkasse building will accommodate a bank branch, offices, apartments, exhibition spaces, a café, and a sky bar. The architectural plan emphasizes community interaction, pedestrian pathways, and public spaces, with only 40% of the site being built on. The remaining areas will be dedicated to public access, seating, green spaces, and event use, with outdoor dining areas also planned.

Demolition of the existing buildings is scheduled to begin in 2025, with construction to follow in 2026. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2027, with the hotel scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2028.
