GloZell Lynette Green, better known simply as GloZell to her four and a half million followers on social media, sent fans spiraling when she revealed earlier this week that she had been cast as one of the competitors on Anne Burrell’s final season of Worst Cooks in America.
The YouTube personality shared a photo of herself on set on Instagram recently, wearing her signature green lipstick as she smiled widely in front of a row of ovens with the Food Network series’ logo imposed in the top corner.
“I’m excited to finally announce that I will be on the newest season of Worst Cooks in America!” she exclaimed in the caption. The season, which was filmed before Burrell’s untimely passing late last month, is set to premiere on Monday, July 28, and fans “can’t wait to watch.”

Her followers couldn’t believe the news, with countless expressing their excitement over the “ICONICCCCC” pairing.
“Yessss!!!!! I cannot wait!!! 💚💚💚,” one exclaimed, as another emphatically declared, “IM SO EXCITED!!! 2 OF MY FAVES COLLIDING!☺️☺️☺️.”

Burrell was found deceased in her Brooklyn apartment back in June. Her cause of death is still under investigation.
