Candace Parker got brutally honest as she recalls a hilarious experience she once had while traveling with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.
The former WNBA star was no stranger to first-class comfort, but her flight with the retired Boston Celtics star was enough to keep her grounded, at least when it came to flying with him again.
During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she was asked by guest host Anthony Anderson about her working relationship with O’Neal on TNT’s Inside the NBA as a studio analyst.
Of all things, the story he brought up was about the time she got invited to fly on his private jet.
According to her, she was new to the team at the time and was in North Carolina for work.

After wrapping things up, the 53-year-old suggested she join him since he was also headed to Los Angeles.
“OK, that beats getting in line at Delta,” she joked, and thought it would be a much better option than dealing with airport crowds and commercial flights.
Lo and behold, it was a mistake she never forgot.
“This dude DJ’ed on full blast for four hours and 38 minutes,” she said, referring to the four-time NBA champion, adding, “And then proceeded the last 35 minutes to fall asleep and snore louder than the music.”
Because of the unexpected incident, Parker swore it was “the first and the last time” she would ride on his plane.
O’Neal joined Inside the NBA in 2011, signing a multi-year deal shortly after his retirement.
The retired WNBA star, on the other hand, first appeared on TNT in 2018 as a commentator for the special program, Players Only.
Soon after, she went on to a larger role and became a full-time analyst on the NBA on TNT.
