This fall forecast for Quebec reveals when you can expect snow and cooler temperatures

10 July 20252 Mins Read

The fall forecast for Canada is out now.

It revealed when Quebec’s weather will bring wet snow, cooler temperatures and more during the season.

Recently, the Old Farmer’s Almanac and the Farmers’ Almanac released Canada’s fall forecasts for 2025, which included predictions for Quebec.

If you’re looking ahead to the fall season, here’s what you need to know for this year.

According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, temperatures in many parts of the country — including Quebec — will be chilly during the season.

Southern parts of Quebec are expected to have a cooler-than-normal season with above-average rainfall.

In September, the average temperature in southern Quebec will be around 13 C, which is a degree below normal.

You can expect periods of sun and rain that alternate during the month, with generally cool conditions throughout.

In October, the average temperature in southern Quebec will be around 7 C, which is also a degree below normal.

Scattered showers and chilly temperatures are forecast for early October.

There will be a brief warm-up in the middle of the month before the weather cools down at the end of October, according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac.

The fall forecast from the Farmers’ Almanac also noted that the season will be cooler than average across Canada.

Quebec is forecast to have a dry, cool start to fall but a cold and stormy end to the season.

You can expect heavy showers and thunderstorms during October throughout the province.

But places in Quebec that are at higher elevations could get wet snow as early as October.

The Farmers’ Almanac said it will be a “flurry” of a season across Canada with changing temperatures and spells of rain, snowfall, and gusty winds.
