Rachel Zegler Reveals Her Favorite Taylor Swift Song — 'She Has Taste'

10 July 20252 Mins Read

It is no secret that actress Rachel Zegler is a huge Swiftie.

Fresh off an evening performance, where Zegler is playing Eva Perón in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s musical Evita at the London Palladium for the next two months, the 24-year-old actress was asked by a fan what her favorite Taylor Swift song was while meeting fans at stage door.

She pauses for a moment, then replies with “cowboy like me,” the eleventh track from Swift’s evermore album. The fans at the signing gasped and let out small cheers, prompting Zegler to smile while she continued to sign more autographs.

Once the interaction made its rounds around X, Swifties were surprised and shocked that “cowboy like me” was Zegler’s favorite Swift song, considering that track is considered to be an underground or underrated song by the 35-year-old Grammy-winning singer.

“Love when someone doesn’t say blank space or style for once,” an X user commented, referring to the two most popular songs on Swift’s 2014 album 1989.

“She has taste,” a fan account dedicated to Swift commented.

“TASTE,” another said.

“YESSS…based as h–l,” a user wrote. “I love cowboy like me.”

A fan with Zegler as their profile picture on X commented, “she has taste so true.”

Another pointed out, “i love how she’s such a genuine swiftie.”

“Tasteful queen!!!!” another Swiftie fan account pointed out. “Evermore for life.”

This is not the first time the West Side Story actress has publicly expressed her love for Swift. At BST Hyde Park last weekend, Zegler was caught happily singing “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” from Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, before Sabrina Carpenter’s show on Sunday evening.

Between her love for Swift and her electric stage presence in Evita, Zegler continues to charm fans both on and off the stage.

She will be playing Eva in Evita at the London Palladium until September 6.
